Orbit2D · orbited.co
I am one developer in Ipswich, in the UK, working under the name orbited.co. Orbit2D is what I am building now, and it gets my whole attention. This page is the short version of what came before it, because people reasonably ask.
Live, and actively worked on.
Orbit2DLive orbit2d.coA survival colony game you play with one finger: dig into a frozen world, seal and heat a base underground, power and feed a crew, and follow a signal coming from the ridge. One HTML file, no engine and no dependencies, plus an Android build. Free.
Orbit2D development logLive log.orbit2d.coEvery build written up in public — what broke, what it cost, what shipped. Useful if you want to see how the game got here rather than just play it.
GripNewsLive gripnews.ukA gaming news, reviews and guides site. Plainly written, evidence-first pieces — how to tell whether a PC is CPU or GPU limited, how to spot a fake game key — rather than reprinted press releases.
Shipped, run for a while, then shut down. The code is published openly rather than quietly deleted — these are archives, not products you can sign up to.
Credentials, keys and databases were stripped from every archive before it was published. They are there to read, not to run.
A long run of shipping small web products on my own — hosting, auth, payments, APIs, content, SEO — and then being honest about the ones that did not work. Orbit2D has the benefit of all of that: it is a single HTML file with no dependencies, it saves four different ways, and it is free because I would rather have players than revenue right now.
